Introduction:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Customer Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. As a Customer Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping to influence their purchasing decisions, while ensuring a memorable shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide detailed information and advice on products and services to customers.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately at the cash register.
  • Achieve personal and team sales targets and KPIs.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of store displays and inventory.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to remain current on product features, new products, and store promotions.
  • Assist in creating a positive, inviting environment for shoppers.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize store sales and performance.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethics codes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in sales or marketing is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a sales associate or customer service role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Knowledge of point of sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • A friendly, engaging personality and professional appearance.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role in [specific industry, e.g., fashion, electronics, etc.]
  • Fluency in a second language.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software.
